The Takahashi Nasal Forceps are primarily used to grasp and remove small pieces of bone, polyps, cartilage, or thick mucosa from the ethmoid sinus, especially during nasal and sinus procedures.
- Helps widen narrow sinus openings to improve airflow and sinus drainage.
- Assist in excising and removing nasal polyps obstructing the sinus pathways.
- Collect tissue samples from inside the narrow nasal cavity for diagnostic testing.
- Grant access to the deep cavities without stretching or damaging the surrounding tissues.
- Assist in treating various nasal diseases to relieve pressure and infection.
