Sarot Bronchus Clamp Uses
The Sarot Bronchus Clamp is primarily used to clamp and occlude a bronchus to isolate the airway, prevent air leaks, and control fluid or blood flow during major pulmonary procedures.
- Hold the cartilaginous surface of the bronchus without crushing the soft tissue.
- Grant deep access to the mediastinum and pulmonary hilum via an open thoracotomy.
- Assist in performing lung resections, such as lobectomies and pneumonectomies.
- Help with airway manipulation during complex suturing or stapling.
- Prevent the nearby structures or tissues from accidental tearing or trauma.
