The Lahey Right Angle Forceps are dissecting and ligating forceps used to hold and manipulate the thyroid gland or surrounding blood vessels while passing a ligature around them.
- Dissect and manipulate the soft tissues or vessels in deep areas.
- Separate and clamp the cystic duct and artery during cholecystectomy.
- Assist in thyroidectomy to dissect the perithyroid tissues for gland removal.
- Prevent crushing or tearing damage to the surrounding tissues.
- Allow access around or under structures without obstructing the view.
